Lutz Lampe

Lutz Lampe is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research interests include communications across wireless, optical-fiber, power-line, and underwater-acoustic channels, as well as sensing, detection, estimation, signal processing, and machine learning. He has served as Department Head, pro tem, from July 2023 to June 2024. Dr. Lampe has been an Associate Editor for several international journals and has held leadership roles in conferences such as Smart Grid Communications, International Power Line Communications, and Ultra-Wideband Communications. He is also the lead co-editor of the book Power Line Communications.

Lutz Lampe is a researcher at the University of British Columbia, specializing in wireless communications, optical fiber communications, power line communications, and machine learning.
