Regular biography
Andre Ivanov is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research interests include Silicon Lifecycle Management, Reliability Engineering, IC Reliability, Design for Reliability, VLSI Design and Test, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Machine Learning for EDA, Machine Learning for IC Reliability, and IoT Security. He has published widely on topics related to the design and test of VLSI circuits and Systems on Chip (SoCs) and is an inventor of several patents. Dr. Ivanov has served as Head of the Department of ECE from 2008 to 2018 and has been involved in various leadership roles within the university and IEEE.
