Sathish Gopalakrishnan is an Associate Professor and Associate Head, Undergraduate Affairs, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research interests include real-time systems, distributed systems, and resource management. He is a member of the Institute for Computing, Information, and Cognitive Systems and a Faculty Fellow at St. John’s College. Dr. Gopalakrishnan is also the Chapter Chair for the Vancouver Chapter of the IEEE Computer Society and a member of the Executive Committee for the IEEE Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems.
