Sid Fels

Sid Fels is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research interests include human computer interaction, human 3D biomechanical modeling, speech synthesis, medical applications of modeling, computer vision, interactive arts and music. He has been a faculty member at UBC since 1998 and is affiliated with the Human Communication Technologies Laboratory. Dr. Fels holds a BASc in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo and advanced degrees from the University of Toronto. His work spans a range of interdisciplinary areas, with a focus on innovative technologies and their applications in various domains.
