Guy Dumont

Guy Dumont is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research interests include adaptive control, predictive control, control of distributed parameters systems, advanced process control, applications of wavelet analysis, biomedical applications of control, and pulp and paper process control. He is also an Associate Member of the Department of Anesthesia, Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Dumont co-founded and co-directs the Electrical and Computer Engineering in Medicine (ECEM) research group with Mark Ansermino. He has been a Professor at UBC since 1989 and has held various research and academic positions throughout his career.
