Purang Abolmaesumi

Purang Abolmaesumi is a Professor and Associate Head, Research, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on biomedical engineering with an emphasis on machine learning, medical image analysis, and image-guided therapy. He holds a Canada Research Chair, Tier II, in Biomedical Engineering and is affiliated with the Department of Urologic Sciences and the School of Biomedical Engineering.
