Regular biography
Jon Funk is a Continuing Lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he teaches Management 295D (Business Plan Development) and serves as a faculty advisor for Management 444 (Business Creation Capstone). He is also a member of the Investment Committee for Anderson Venture Impact Partners and advises A26, an Anderson student-led venture capital investment club. Funk is the founder of Ocean Road Partners, a private investment firm focused on startup information technology companies in Southern California. He has held various roles in venture capital, including managing director at Allegis Capital from 1996 to 2007 and venture partner until 2016. He directed several successful investments at Allegis Capital and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
