Jason Lee

Jason Lee is a Continuing Lecturer in Finance and Faculty Advisor, Strategic Management Research at the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management. His teaching focus includes finance, entrepreneurship, private equity, and impact investing. Lee brings over 25 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and strategy consulting. He is a managing partner of Element, a strategic advisor and investor in energy-related industries, and previously served as a managing director and portfolio manager at Oaktree Capital Management. His research and teaching integrate practical application with theoretical insights, emphasizing real-world relevance in management studies.
