Jane Wu

Jane Wu is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Her research explores the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategy, with a focus on the role of metrics in shaping innovation within firms. Wu’s work examines how metrics influence strategic choices and the development of ideas in entrepreneurial settings. She received her Ph.D. and S.M. from MIT and a B.Comm. and B.A. from Queen’s University. Prior to her academic career, she co-founded an education software startup and worked in venture capital. Her research includes publications in the Strategic Management Journal and contributions to case studies for MIT Sloan.
