David Wessels

David Wessels is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management. He also serves on the faculty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches corporate valuation, venture capital, and performance management. His research focuses on organizational structure and financial performance. Wessels is the author of Valuation, a widely recognized textbook in corporate valuation and investment banking. He has received multiple teaching awards, including Wharton’s MBA Excellence in Teaching Award. His professional experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company and HarbourVest Venture Partners.
