David DeVito

David DeVito is a Lecturer of Accounting at the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. Mr. DeVito joined the faculty upon his retirement as Global Chief Operating Officer of TCW Group Inc., where assets under management reached over $260 billion during his nearly 30-year career. He also served as Global Chief Financial Officer and Global Chief Administrative Officer at TCW, and was a member of various operating committees. Mr. DeVito has experience in complex accounting and financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. He is an active equity investor and has been a guest speaker at numerous investment and accounting conferences.
