Daniel A. Nathanson is a Continuing Lecturer and EMBA Faculty Advisor at the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. He teaches Small Business Management and Business Plan Development and advises field study programs. Nathanson is an entrepreneur, executive, investor, consultant, and educator with a 25-year record of success in building businesses and helping entrepreneurs. He has held executive roles at Vernitron Corporation and founded Computerized Retail Systems, which he grew to become a leading technology company. He also founded Washington Square Capital Fund and served as CEO of Tickmark Solutions, where he significantly increased revenues. Nathanson holds a Ph.D. from the Wharton School, an MBA from NYU's Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. His publications include works on business strategy and organizational design.
