Barney Hartman-Glaser is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. He joined the faculty as an assistant professor in 2013 and was promoted to associate professor in 2020. Hartman-Glaser has served as research director of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate since 2016. His research focuses on contracting frictions, mortgage markets, corporate finance, and housing markets. Prior to UCLA, he was an assistant professor at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
