Joshua Gendron, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology with Tenure at Yale University. His research focuses on daily and seasonal timing mechanisms in plants, particularly the interplay of protein degradation and daily timing. His lab uses reverse genetics and biochemistry in the model plant Arabidopsis to investigate how plants sense and respond to environmental cues. His work is supported by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. Gendron previously studied the brassinosteroid signaling pathway in Arabidopsis and investigated transcriptional networks in the circadian clock of Arabidopsis. He was funded by a Ruth L. Kirchstein NRTSA award from the NIH and spent time as a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego.
