Ali Dolatabadi

Ali Dolatabadi is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on Thermofluids Materials, including multiphase flows and sprays, heat transfer and phase change, CFD, suspension thermal spray processes, cold spray additive manufacturing, aerosol deposition, superhydrophobic, icephobic, and slippery coatings. He is affiliated with the Centre for Advanced Coating Technologies (CACT) and the Mechanical Inter-Disciplinary Laboratory (MIND lab). Dr. Dolatabadi has established research collaborations with industry partners such as Airbus, Pratt & Whitney, Bombardier, Siemens, and Rolls-Royce. He is also the President of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC).
