Roger Carrick

Roger Carrick is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream (Conditional) in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, cross-appointed in the Division of Engineering Science. His research focuses on Engineering Design Education, with interests in Collaboration in Design, Project-Based Learning, Assessment in a Team Environment, Knowledge Integration through Design, Evaluation of Design Skill Progression, Transdisciplinary Design, and Personalized Learning. He previously served as the Designer-in-Residence in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University for five years and received the President’s University-Wide Teaching Award at York University in 2020.
