Regular biography
Eugene Kushnirsky is an Associate Professor of Instruction Field in the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern University. He received his PhD from the University of Michigan in 1999 and joined the Northwestern University faculty in 2002 after holding a postdoctoral position at Indiana University. His research focuses on algebraic groups over local and global fields, and automorphic forms. In 2018, he was awarded a Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Teaching Award.
