Regular biography
Aaron Greicius is a Professor of Instruction and Director of Un at Northwestern University's Department of Mathematics. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007. Following his doctoral studies, he held a postdoctoral position at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a faculty position at Loyola University Chicago before joining Northwestern University in 2018. His research focuses on Galois representations of elliptic curves. Greicius was awarded the Nikki Kose Memorial Teaching Prize at the University of California, Berkeley in 2007 and received a Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Teaching Award in 2022.
