Elton P. Hsu is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern University. He received his PhD from Stanford University in 1984. Following a postdoctoral position at the Courant Institute of NYU and a faculty position at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Hsu joined Northwestern University in 1990. His research focuses on probability and stochastic analysis, with an emphasis on applications to parabolic equations in a geometric setting.
