Thomas Mattison

Thomas Mattison is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on experimental particle physics and subatomic physics, with specific interests in CP violation, B decays, accelerator physics, and the Next Linear Collider. Mattison's academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from MIT, followed by a doctoral degree from MIT, where he worked under the supervision of Nobel Laureate Jerome Friedman. He has held various academic and research positions, including at CERN, Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, and the University of British Columbia, where he has been since 1999.
