Regular biography
Aaron Boley is a Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on planetary astronomy, space sustainability, and space policy, with specific interests in planet formation, protoplanetary disk evolution, and space debris. He is also a co-founder and co-director of the Outer Space Institute, which addresses challenges in space through a transdisciplinary approach. Boley holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Union, a Master's and Doctoral degree from Indiana University, and has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Florida and the University of Zurich. He is affiliated with the Outer Space Institute and contributes to research on space sustainability and planetary system evolution.
