Allison Man is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on extragalactic astrophysics, specifically galaxy formation and evolution, early Universe studies, star formation, and supermassive black holes. She utilizes advanced observational facilities such as the Hubble Space Telescope and the Atacama Large Millimeter Array to investigate the growth of galaxies across cosmic time. Man is also involved in global initiatives like Homeward Bound and has contributed to astronomy education programs in Africa. She is actively recruiting students and postdoctoral fellows for her research group.
