Asir Intisar Khan

Asir Intisar Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a faculty scientist in the Materials Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and co-director of the Berkeley Emerging Technology Research (BETR) Center. Khan's research focuses on engineering heterogeneous electronic materials and devices for energy-efficient 3D integrated electronics, with interests in emerging memory technologies, nanoscale interconnects, and thermal management strategies. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2023 and his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2016. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the AVS Russell & Sigurd Varian Award and the IEEE Electron Device Society (EDS) Ph.D. Fellowship.
