Ronald S. Fearing

Ronald S. Fearing is a Professor Emeritus and Professor in the Graduate School at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. His research interests include Control, Intelligent Systems, and Robotics (CIR), as well as Biosystems & Computational Biology (BIO). His work spans milli-robotics, tactile sensing, and dextrous manipulation. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and S.B. and S.M. degrees from MIT. Fearing has received the Presidential Young Investigator Award and the Bakar Fellows Spark Award. He is also a co-inventor on 21 US and international patents.
