Regular biography
Professor Victoria Coleman is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds the title of Professor and is affiliated with the Berkeley Air & Space Center. Her research interests include trusted and assured microelectronics, trusted autonomy, collaborative autonomy, defense innovation, emerging space capabilities, and digital human rights. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Manchester in 1991. Professor Coleman has held leadership roles in government and industry, including serving as the Director of DARPA and the Chief Scientist for the United States Air Force. Her work has been featured in various publications, including Air & Space Forces Magazine and Defense News.
