David Attwood is a Professor in Residence Emeritus in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He has been affiliated with the university since 1989 and has contributed to the development of the Applied Science and Technology Ph.D. program. His research focuses on short wavelength electromagnetic radiation, including x-rays and extreme ultraviolet radiation, with interests in coherence, nanoscale imaging, and EUV lithography.
