Regular biography
Suk-Jo Kang is an Associate Professor in the BIO department at KAIST. Their research focuses on Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Human Disease, and Immunology. Specifically, their work explores the interaction of the STING pathway with other cellular pathways, cross-talk between immune cells and tumor cells in the tumor microenvironment, and the development of cancer immunotherapy. They also investigate the development and function of basophil precursor cells. Their laboratory, the Molecular and Cellular Immunology Lab, is dedicated to understanding how the immune system senses foreign entities and orchestrates immune responses.
