Byung-Ha Oh is a researcher at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) with a focus on molecular biology and structural biochemistry. His work explores the molecular mechanisms of apoptosis, autophagy, and immune responses, particularly through the study of proteins such as survivin, Beclin1, and PGRP-LB. He investigates the structural and functional properties of enzymes and their roles in microbial interactions and disease. His research also includes the structural analysis of viral proteins and their interactions with host cellular machinery. By combining structural biology with functional studies, Oh contributes to understanding the molecular basis of cellular processes and immune responses.
