Chunghun Lim

Chunghun Lim is an Associate Professor in the Department of BIO at KAIST. His research interests include Human Disease, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, and Stem Cell. The Lim Lab focuses on understanding how protein translation processes, such as ribosomal collisions and translation stress signaling, contribute to neural development, neurodegeneration, and aging. The lab employs diverse models, including patient-derived iPSCs and human fibroblasts, alongside advanced techniques like CRISPR and single-cell analysis. The lab is transitioning into the Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory at KAIST, aiming to explore co-translational dynamics and their physiological implications.
