Dae-Sik Lim

Dae-Sik Lim is a Professor in the BIO department at KAIST. His research interests include Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Molecular Biology. DAE-SIK LIM is a Professor of Biological Science at KAIST, specializing in molecular biology and cellular mechanisms. His research focuses on the roles of key proteins in DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and tumor suppression. LIM's work explores the functions of ATM kinase, its substrates, and its involvement in DNA damage response pathways. He has investigated the molecular mechanisms of embryonic lethality, radiation hypersensitivity, and checkpoint pathways. Additionally, his research examines the Hippo-YAP signaling pathway, its regulation of organ size, and its interaction with other signaling networks such as FoxO1 and cAMP/PKA. His studies also address the role of YAP/TAZ in angiogenesis, liver tumorigenesis, and kidney development.
