Regular biography
Professor LIU Shaoxuan is a Professor of Management Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, affiliated with the Antai College of Economics & Management. He holds a Ph.D. in management from the University of California, Irvine, and a B.S. in applied mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University. His research focuses on operations and supply chain management, supply chain finance, operations strategy, digital transformation and innovation, and transportation policy. He has published extensively in top-tier journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and Production and Operations Management. Professor Liu teaches Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Operations Strategy at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He has received several teaching awards, including the second prize national teaching award of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has led over 10 scientific research projects and serves on advisory boards for various organizations.
