CHEN Hongmin is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Born in 1960 in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, China, he holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (1991) and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Fudan University (1982). He has been a Full-Time Professor since 1994 and has held visiting professor positions at institutions such as MIT, City University of Hong Kong, and the University of British Columbia. His research interests include Industrial Organization, Technological Management and Innovation, and Corporate Strategic Management. He has received multiple National Natural Science Foundation grants and has published over 150 academic articles.
