CAI Mingchao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include empirical asset pricing, portfolio management, and pension fund management. He has published papers in SSCI journals, including studies on household asset allocation, event risk in the Chinese stock market, and background risks. Cai has also contributed to Chinese financial literature through various publications and has authored or co-authored several books on finance and investment. He has held visiting scholar positions at institutions such as the University of California, San Diego, and Columbia Business School.
