Regular biography
DONG Ming is a Professor in the Department of ECON at Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on Management Science, with particular emphasis on supply chain/logistics management, service science & engineering, and production optimization & scheduling. Prof. Dong holds a Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and has conducted research at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently the Associate Dean of Antai College and Academic Director of CLGO (China Leaders for Global Operations). His work includes numerous projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China, the State 863 Program, and Intel Corporation. Prof. Dong has published extensively in journals such as European Journal of Operational Research and International Journal of Production Economics.
