Regular biography
CHEN Xian is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Renmin University and has been a Doctoral Supervisor since 2001. His research focuses on Service Economics and Trade, Macroeconomics, and Public Economics. He has led several key research projects, including studies on the economic theory and development strategy of China's modern service industry and the new path of industrialization. CHEN has also published the annual 'Chinese Service Economy Report' since 2005 and contributed to the development of teaching materials for the 11th Five-Year Plan. He is an Executive Dean of Antai College and holds various leadership roles in academic associations.
