Regular biography
Qing LI is a Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Peking University. She holds a tenured position and is affiliated with the Peking-Tsinghua Center for Life Sciences. Her research focuses on chromatin replication and epigenetic inheritance, particularly the mechanisms governing the faithful duplication of chromatin during DNA synthesis. She has contributed to understanding how nucleosome assembly and histone chaperones facilitate epigenetic information transfer. Her work explores the interplay between DNA replication and chromatin structure to ensure genomic stability and epigenetic fidelity. She has published extensively in leading journals, including Science, Cell, and Nature, and has received several awards for her research and teaching.
