Li-Jia QU

Li-Jia QU is a Professor at Peking University, School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on the molecular regulation mechanisms involved in plant reproduction, utilizing genetic, biochemical, and molecular biology approaches. He investigates receptor-like protein kinases/peptide signals-mediated signaling pathways, factors regulating protein degradation and/or endomembrane trafficking, and transcription factors. QU also develops new tools for genetic editing in plants. His work includes studies on sexual reproduction in higher plants, such as gametogenesis, male-female interactions, fertilization, and embryogenesis. He has published extensively in journals such as Cell, Science, and Annual Review of Plant Biology.
