Regular biography
Shaun Fitzgerald is a Research Professor in the Centre for Climate Repair at Cambridge, affiliated with the Department of Engineering. His research interests include Applied Mechanics, ventilation, refreeze, and marine cloud brightening. He is Director of the Centre for Climate Repair and has been involved in various advisory roles, including the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) and the Royal Society Rapid Assistance for Modelling the Pandemic (RAMP) team. Fitzgerald has also contributed to the development of guidance on emerging from lockdown and supported the work of the Royal Academy of Engineering Policy Centre on Infection Resilient Buildings.
