Professor Seb Savory

Professor Seb Savory is a Professor of Optical Fibre Communication in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on photonics, optical fibre communication, and digital signal processing. His work explores algorithms for digital coherent transceivers, coherent passive optical networks, statistical optical communication system design, and cognitive optical networks. He is also involved in teaching and supervision activities, including leading modules on optical fibre communication and supervising projects.
