Jong Min Kim

Jong Min Kim is a Research Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He was formerly Senior Vice President and Vice President in Samsung Electronics Corporate R&D Centre, Korea, for 13 years. He was Chair of Electrical Engineering at the University of Oxford from 2012 to 2015. His research interests include quantum dots, nano carbon materials, and display technologies. He has authored over 300 journal papers and holds 253 patents. He has received numerous awards, including the Prime Minister Awards and the Minister of Knowledge/Economy Awards from the Korean government. His work has contributed to significant advancements in flexible electrodes, quantum dot-based LEDs, and carbon nanotube technologies.
