John Faller

John Faller is a Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Yale University, affiliated with the Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, with an emphasis on transition metal complexes, organometallic compounds, and their applications in controlling stereochemistry. His work includes asymmetric catalysis, chiral poisoning, and the synthesis of semiconductor nanocrystals and quantum dots. Faller has contributed to the fields through publications in journals such as Chemical Reviews and Journal of Organometallic Chemistry. He has been a member of Yale faculty since 1966 and is not currently accepting lab members.
