Patrick P. Mercier is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on energy-efficient circuit and system design, particularly for miniaturized devices in biomedical applications. He leads the Energy-Efficient Microsystems Lab, which develops integrated microsystems for biomedical electronics, ubiquitous computing, and mobile systems.
