Tara Javidi

Tara Javidi is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Her research focuses on wireless systems, including stochastic and optimal resource allocation, network design and control, multi-access control, and topology design in ad hoc systems. She is also involved in the applications of microeconomic theory and organizational science to wireless network design. Javidi is a founding co-director of the Center for Machine-Intelligence, Computing and Security and a principal investigator of the DetecDrone Project. She is affiliated with multiple research centers at UC San Diego, including the Centers of Information Theory and Applications, Wireless Communications, Contextual Robotics Institute, and Networked Systems. She is also an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Ethnic Studies.
