Sujit Dey

Sujit Dey is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He serves as Director of the Center for Wireless Communications and the Institute for the Global Entrepreneur. His research interests include connected health, green computing and communications, mobile cloud computing, predictive and prescriptive analytics, smart cities and smart transportation, wireless immersive multimedia. Dey leads the Mobile Systems Design Laboratory, focusing on innovative technologies in these areas. He has co-authored over 250 publications, holds 18 U.S. and 2 international patents, and has received seven IEEE/ACM Best Paper Awards. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and has held leadership roles in academia and industry.
