Lim Young Woon

Lim Young Woon is a Professor in the Department of BIO at Seoul National University. His research focuses on fungal evolution, ecophylogeny, and interactions with bacteria, insects, and plants. He leads the Laboratory of Mycology and Ecophylogeny, where his work includes phylogenetic studies of fungi, fungal diversity using Next Generation Sequencing, and the role of fungi in wood degradation. Lim has held various academic and research positions at Seoul National University and has contributed to numerous publications in microbiology and mycology.
