Lee Won-Jae

Lee Won-Jae is a Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Seoul National University. His research focuses on the interactions between hosts and microbes, particularly in the context of gut immunity and microbiome dynamics. His work has been published in prominent scientific journals such as Nature, Cell, and Science. Lee's laboratory, the Laboratory of Host-Microbe Interactions, investigates mechanisms underlying innate immune homeostasis and gut-microbe mutualism in model organisms like Drosophila.
