Hwang Soo Seok

Hwang Soo Seok is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Seoul National University. His research focuses on immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, and bioinformatics, with an emphasis on understanding T cell quiescence and its implications for immune regulation and disease. His laboratory, the Laboratory of Molecular Immunobiology, employs interdisciplinary approaches to investigate the mechanisms underlying T cell function and their applications in immunological disorders and cancer therapy. Hwang joined Seoul National University in 2023 after serving as an Assistant Professor at Yonsei University College of Medicine and a Post-doctoral Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine.
