Choi Yeonhee

Choi Yeonhee is a Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Seoul National University. Her research focuses on genetic and epigenetic regulation during plant reproduction, including the study of DNA methylation and its role in plant development. She leads the Laboratory of Plant Embryogenesis and Epigenetics, where her work explores the molecular mechanisms underlying plant embryogenesis and epigenetic interactions. Choi's academic career includes positions at Seoul National University, where she has been a Professor since 2015. She has also held postdoctoral and research fellow roles at the University of California, Berkeley, and Seoul National University.
