Semyon Dyatlov is a Professor of Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of MATH. He joined the mathematics faculty as Assistant Professor in January 2015, was appointed an Associate Professor in July 2018, and received tenure in July 2019. His research focuses on quantum chaos, microlocal analysis, dynamical systems, and scattering theory. He has worked on quantum chaos, Pollicott-Ruelle resonances, forced waves in water tanks, and quasi-normal modes in general relativity.
