Jiasi Shen

Jiasi Shen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Her research focuses on software engineering and programming languages, with interests in programming languages, program analysis, program transformation, and software engineering. Her research goal is to automate software development tasks and enhance how people create, understand, and improve software. She was named an EECS Rising Star in 2020. She received her Ph.D. and master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her bachelor's degree from Peking University.
